Family and friends all gathered at the Shenandoah Clubhouse at the Turning Stone Casino for Genevieve and Derek’s New Year’s Eve wedding, the whole place looked fabulous (even if we really didn’t have any snow)! Cindy & Roger from Ormond Entertainment really outdid themselves (once again) taking care of the evening’s entertainment and the snowflake lighting was really something to see! I owe a huge “Thank You!!” to my friend Caly Doran who gave up her New Year’s Eve to help me out! Once again my buddy Justin Mayer joined us as the video ninja and the Photo Boothique was out in full force!

I can honestly say that I don’t think that I have ever met two people that were more meant for each other than Genevieve and Derek, all you have to do is spend a little time with the two of them and you would be able to see it for yourself.

Steph & Tim live in Boston (which I had the pleasure of visiting this past spring and found myself thoroughly enjoying it especially the Samuel Adams Brewery) but Steph is an Upstate girl and this is where they decided to tie the knot! Now you can never go wrong with The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, I’m pretty certain that it’s Syracuse’s oldest and definitely grandest church. Or the Genesee Grande either for that matter which is where everyone got ready and where the reception was held as well, as always they did a great job and everything looked fabulous! Once again the Photoboothique was on site and it definitely got a workout! Everyone was so nice and gracious and I had a great time!

It was cold.
It was raining.
It was miserable.
It was cold, raining and miserable.
Noticing a theme here?

When I awoke from my first night in Buffalo I knew that my run of good weather was over. As I walked to Starbucks I kept peering at the sky praying that it would begin to clear so that it would be nice for Margaret & Tim’s wedding, Mother Nature was not smiling upon me this day or so it seemed. As luck would have it She gave us a slight grin, she held the rain back long enough for us to spend a little time outdoors at the Buffalo Historical Society (but it was still pretty cold)! But before that we had to get things done at Our Lady of Peace which actually has a tunnel behind the altar which I used to get from one side of the church to the other, not that it was necessary I just wanted an excuse to use it.

I knew that I was going to enjoy Ashley & Mark’s wedding when I convinced them to climb a fence to enter the realm of the killer swans at Wagner Vineyards when we met there to have a look around and to sample some of Wagner’s finest! Yet again the weather was awesome (we’ve been really lucky this year) and everything went off without a hitch! Ginny and the staff at Wagner did a fantastic job with the venue and Dave Hanlon’s Cookbook kept the entertainment level high! Ashley & Mark’s guests cranked out a record setting 428 photobooth photos thereby beating out every other wedding this year by at least 2:1!! Now I would be remiss if I did not mention what a great job Ashley did with all of the flowers and centerpieces! She is so crafty!!!

It was a beautiful autumn day in September when Amanda and Wes exchanged their vows at the The Inn On The Lake in Canandaigua; they chose to see each other before the ceremony (highly recommended!) so that they would have a few moments alone before the rest of the day just flew by (it also gets you to cocktail hour before it’s over). Some of Wes’ family came from as far away as Alaska (which is where Wes hails from himself) and Amanda is a local upstate girl who looked absolutely stunning! They wrote their own vows (Wes memorized his and I was very impressed) and he spoke of how he and Amanda first met (very sweet). Afterward we found a little park down the street to grab a few more wedding party formals and then we cut all of them loose so we could get a few with just the Amand and Wes! Then it was onto the reception where Brian from Visa Versa Entertainment kept the dance floor packed the entire night! The Photo Boothique (aka photo booth) was out in full force again! A big shout out to my good friend Andrew (and his go go gadget legs) for helping me out!!

Florist: Flowers By Stella

I love river weddings and this one was right on the river at Erinn’s parent’s cottage on the St. Lawrence. The weather was beautiful (and hot, it’s been hot all summer) and the location was perfect! I have never seen as many flowers at wedding than what I saw at Erinn & Chad’s wedding, it was floral overload! Boo from the Farmhouse Kitchen was on hand as well as The Bob Cooper Band. The Photo Boothique was onsite providing guests a fun way to capture the evening’s festivities. The guests were treated to an impromptu musical performance from Chad and some of his friends (maybe they will get the band back together) and at end of the night we were treated to a fireworks show put on Erinn’s dad!

I’ve known Rachelle for a while and I was honored when she and Brian asked me to photograph their wedding this August at Emerson Park in Auburn, NY. The weather was absolutely perfect and everything went off with out a hitch! The pavilion looked great thanks to Rachelle and her mom (I cannot wait to see it once the renovations are completed)! Bonnie’s Creations made sure that the flowers were perfect! Chef Floyd House from Premier Catering did a fabulous job and Black Tie Entertainment kept the place jumping well into the night! Brian & Rachelle along with their family friends packed the Photo Boothique the entire night! And I would be remiss without a huge shout out to KC (aka K-Cizzle) for helping me out!!

It was a beautiful July day when Becky & Katie decided to make things legal! I had a fabulous time hanging out with them, their families and their closest friends (and you know that they were rocking out the Photo Boothique)!!! I just love these two.

I have been looking forward to Roseanne and Steve’s wedding since I first met Roseanne and her mom last fall (they were so pleasant)! Now I’ve always known that I have a pretty awesome job but there is a possibility that Steve’s job might be a little more awesome than mine (but not by much!). After meeting as students at Syracuse University they chose Hendricks Chapel as the place where they would bring their two families together to create a new one. I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to do this on my own so I enlisted the help of my dear friend Laure Lillie who came along to cover the guys. Jamie Owens from A Pink Door was along for day of coordinating and to keep us in line and on time! Holly (of A-List Artistry) and Tiffany always do a great job when it comes to hair and makeup and it was no surprise that Roseanne and the rest of the girls looked absolutely stunning! The Photo Boothique was out in full force and stayed packed the entire night (if you are interested in having a photobooth at your wedding next year be sure to ask me about the 2012 special)!

I had an awesome time and was so honored to have been a part of their very special day.

I look forward to seeing you both next summer at our next wedding!!!
