I have been looking forward to Roseanne and Steve’s wedding since I first met Roseanne and her mom last fall (they were so pleasant)! Now I’ve always known that I have a pretty awesome job but there is a possibility that Steve’s job might be a little more awesome than mine (but not by much!). After meeting as students at Syracuse University they chose Hendricks Chapel as the place where they would bring their two families together to create a new one. I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to do this on my own so I enlisted the help of my dear friend Laure Lillie who came along to cover the guys. Jamie Owens from A Pink Door was along for day of coordinating and to keep us in line and on time! Holly (of A-List Artistry) and Tiffany always do a great job when it comes to hair and makeup and it was no surprise that Roseanne and the rest of the girls looked absolutely stunning! The Photo Boothique was out in full force and stayed packed the entire night (if you are interested in having a photobooth at your wedding next year be sure to ask me about the 2012 special)!

I had an awesome time and was so honored to have been a part of their very special day.

I look forward to seeing you both next summer at our next wedding!!!

My sister contacted me a while ago to shoot some photos for my niece’s (an aspiring model) portfolio. She just turned 16 and I haven’t seen her since she was 12, she’s grown into quite a beautiful young woman and I hope that these photographs do her justice.

Keep your eyes peeled!

I had a great time yesterday at the MDA Muscle Walk and was honored when I was asked to participate! The images that I shot can be found here. If you would like to download any of the photos just click on the “Download” link on the left side of the image when you are viewing it full screen.

Something to think about if you are considering having a cousin/uncle/bff photograph your wedding (and I couldn’t have said it better myself).

Megan promised me an epic wedding and an epic wedding it was (right down to the epic shoes)!! Things got rolling at Megan’s parents house which happened to be right around the corner from Holy Family Church which is where we got all of the legal stuff taken care of. Following the ceremony we headed to Thompson Park for photos, thankfully we were blessed with awesome weather because we had an outdoor outdoor reception to get to! The Sackets Harbor Visitor Center proved to be the perfect setting as it overlooks Navy Pointe Marina as well as being located right in the heart of Sackets Harbor! Now unbeknownst to Megan and the guests, Travis had arranged for Megan’s favorite celebrity to make a surprise visit (see below)!! A big bowl of of thank yous goes out to Caly who was gracious enough to help me out!

Robert Pattinson (from the Twilight movies) dropped in on the reception to show his allegiance to Team Travis!

We even had a bubble catching contest! (not really)

This past Saturday we headed over to the Carrier Dome with our daughter’s (Emma) basketball team to watch the Syracuse Women’s Basketball team play against the University of South Florida. Before the game started Emma and I were chosen along with Todd and Abby to compete in a contest at half time where the girls had to run down the court while putting on an oversized uniform and size 14 sneakers. Once they were dressed they had to dribble a ball back down the court and pass it to us. The first dad to make a shot from the foul line won a prize (unfortunately it was not a scholarship). Abby got the ball to Todd first so he got a shot off, so the pressure was really on then. I just didn’t want to throw up a brick.

Watch what happens.

After exchanging vows at St. Alphonsus in Auburn Taylor and Bobby headed to the beautiful Hobbit Hollow Farm in Skaneateles, NY. Nancy and the rest of the staff from The Sherwood Inn did an absolutely fantastic job hosting over 200 guests! We had hoped to get some photos lakeside but Saturdays in Skaneateles during the summer can be quite congested so we headed out into traffic (the busiest intersection seemed liked a good idea at the time). I’m pretty happy with what we came up with! Soul Session was on hand to keep things rocking and G was at the helm as front man!
I was fortunate to have my dear friend Shavonne helping me out; I think that I would be lost without her.
